"Silkscreen for the
Design Minded"
Have you ever been inside a fancy designer store and said to yourself "I can do that". Well here is your chance to learn how to make high quality low cost prints on a variety of surfaces.
Well you need to take "Silkscreen for the
Design Minded" . The classes meet for 3 consecutive Saturday
sessions. The Studio is equipped with a 4 color carousel Tshirt
press, a flats table, Dryer oven, and Flash Cure
The cost is $75 which includes 3 1hr instructional sessions,
Use of one silkscreen to coat and use, and use of all studio
equipment day of session. The student must provide all inks, and
materials to be printed(tshirts, paper, etc....) all inks must be
either Waterbased or Plastisol, NO TOXIC SMELLING INKS ALLOWED!!!! If
you desire to do a multicolor print you will need to provide
additional screens. I will also have inks available for a $10
Lab fee per color. You WILL have a finished piece at the completion of this course.
The class is held at 1020 1st ave S. 1/2 block north of Safeco Field (Mariners Stadium) in Downtown Seattle
